10/19/2020 0 Comments Avatar: The Last AirbenderThis is a review on Avatar: The Last Airbender and why I think it's an amazing show. It came out in the year 2005 on Nickelodeon and aired until 2008. I first found out about it from my friend who was watching this year and he said it was a really good show so I decided to try it one night. During quarantine I binge watched the entire series. Now I am enjoying re-watching the series with my mom, who also finds the show fun to watch. The show is based in an asiatic (Asian related) world where there are four elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Some people who are gifted can bend these elements. There is a leader of the world, the “Avatar”, who can bend all of the elements. The Avatar is supposed to keep the world in peace and is a bridge from the physical world and the spiritual world. The protagonist Aang, the current Avatar, is a 12 year old boy and the last airbender in the world. Aang and his friends, Sokka and Katara and others strive to end the Fire Nation’s war against the other nations of the world. My favorite character is General Iroh. He is a really amazing, wise, smart and tea loving guy. I would rate this show a 5 out of 5! You can still watch this show on Netflix.
