2/24/2021 0 Comments Healthy Banana SplitsToday I’m going to teach you how to make a healthy, and yummy recipe! If you read the title you know that we are going to be making a banana split but not the one with ice cream and all that, the healthy kind with fruit, nuts, yogurt and more. If you are someone who likes eating the following ingredients then this is a recipe you will love! Ingredients Now, there are several different ingredients you can use, I will be mentioning other options and the ingredients that I used so you can choose what you like best. 1 banana Strawberries BlueberriesBlackberries Raspberries (I didn’t add this but I bet it would taste very good!) Peanut butter or Jelly. (I used Jelly.) Plain greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt. ( I used the greek yogurt.) Honey Chia seeds Cinnamon Vanilla extract Granola or Toasted Oats Shredded coconut Nuts (almonds, peanuts, or cashews.) Instructions WARNING: Kids, you can make this recipe but make sure to have a parent watching you cut your fruit! In the pictures down below, you will see that there will be step-by-step pictures to guide you while you make your healthy banana split! Step 1: Gather all your ingredients (jelly and vanilla extract not in pictures) Step 2 and 3: Then, cut your banana lengthwise and put in a bowl. Now time for yogurt. If using unflavored yogurt here is when you add your honey, chia seeds, etc. Now add honey, cinnamon, chia seeds, slices of banana, and vanilla extract Here are the ingredients that I used in the yogurt. I used about ⅓ of honey, two of the medicine cups filled with the chia seeds, all the bananas you see, and just a little of cinnamon. Now you can put your yogurt to the side as we are done with making it taste good. Step 4: Cut all your fruit. Step 5: Now it is time to assemble! Put the yogurt in between the banana and add fruit, shredded coconut, granola, almonds or any type of nuts, peanut butter or jelly, and honey! I made this for my mom and my dad and they loved it! If you don’t want to add too many toppings just add fruit and granola and you’re done I love making this once and a while as a yummy, but at the same time healthy, breakfast. I rate this a 5 out of 5!! Let me know if you try this recipe out and let me know if you like it! Bye!
