10/19/2020 0 Comments Minecraft Live: Vote for the Next MobThe Minecraft Mob Vote 2020 was exciting! This was a time for the Minecraft community to vote a new mob into the game forever. On October 3rd, 2020, at 12:00 pm, a Twitter vote decided the winner. Future voting will be announced on https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/live. Here were the choices. Moobloom: The Moobloom is a passive mob that lives in flower forests and looks like a yellow cow with flowers on its back. The Moobloom will have interactions with bees (it is currently unknown what) and could possibly be used for flower/bee farming. Iceologer: The Iceologer is a hostile illager that lives on icy mountains and looks like an illager wearing an all blue snowsuit. The Iceologer could possibly be used for ice farming or minigames where you avoid its attacks for a certain amount of time. Glowsquid: The Glowsquid is a passive mob that lives in deep oceans and looks like a green squid with light green (square) dots on it. The Glowsquid could possibly be used for mining lights or lights inside houses. The mob I voted for was the Moobloom because it would be great for farming (bees?) and would be a cute addition to the game. Sadly, the winner was the Glowsquid. If dynamic lighting is added I think the Glowsquid would be helpful, otherwise it is completely useless. We’ll have to wait until mid-2021 to find out.
